incoco nail strips!

I won these Incoco nail strips on Twitter and am so excited to share them with you! They are a limited edition Seventeen Magazine Prom pair and they are a sparkly purple gradient.

I am not going to Prom but I still wanted to try these out. They were really easy to apply and I like them better than the Sally Hansen ones that I have tried- they were easier to stretch and lay down smooth other my nails. The whole process took about 12 minutes. I do recommend that you do your thumbs last… its easier to do the other nails that way. They are pretty glitzy for a work week but I really love how they look- and they look amazing in the sun with all of the sparkles! What do you think of them… too wild for non-prom occasion?

You can buy these strips on the Incoco website, they retail from $7.99.

Here is a quick video from their YouTube that shows you how easy they are to apply!

eylure falsies

A very nice representative of Eylure USA sent Lace & Lacquer some falsies to try out and review and we wanted to show you one of the pairs they sent us! I tried this one last week and wore them from about 7am- 2 am. It was a long day… but they lasted! I had to reapply some glue once but I think that was bad application on my part.

As you can see, these lashes aren’t too obtrusive, long, or thick but they definitely made a difference on my eyes. I have some before and after application pictures:

These lashes are ideal for daily use. I wore them to work, on a flight, to dinner, and then out at bars in Brooklyn while I was visiting my cousin. I asked a few people if they could tell I was wearing lashes and most said no (I asked some people who don’t see me on a regular basis, but my cousin told me she noticed only because my lashes looked so cool!). I definitely recommend these to others, they were easy to put on, the glue that came with them was easy to work with.

What do you think…Can you tell I’m wearing falsies?
