I got this Color Club nail polish in my birchbox this month and I LOVE it! The color is called Blue-Ming and I was so surprised at how this color turned out.
It looks like its just sort of a minty blue color but on my nails it ended up being so much more neon!
And then at brunch on Saturday my friend C and I started taking some fun neon nail pics with our blue and purple…
And then K wanted to join in with her pretty neon pink and we made it a neon party!
Love love love pastely-neon (what a contradiction?!) nails right now for the summer. It makes your hands look tan and it is a perfect accessory to any summer outfit.
For my Sunday night manicure I decided to try out color blocking on my nails in sort of a stained glass pattern. I started off by painting my nails white and then used neon green, neon yellow, tangerine, teal, and gold polishes to create an array of colors on my nails.
After that, I used my Orly thin striping polish to outline the nails and separate the colors. I left some white on the nails to incorporate it into the design. The result? This fun stained glass pattern on my nails that I will be sad to remove. I think this is a manicure I will continue to experiment with this spring and summer, since its so bright and fun looking.

Decided to give tribal nails a try since I have been seeing them all over instagram, pinterest, and the blogosphere.
To create successful tribal nails, you need a black and a white striper polish. I used Orly’s Instant Artist polishes.
To start this off, I used OPI’s Fiercely Fiona as a base and added some OPI’s Fly to my nails.
Then, I used the white to draw separating lines between the two colors.
Then, using the black and white, I made tribal like designs on my nails. I took some pictures of my left hand final product, because my right hand looks a little messy… I need some practice!
this is a deep royal glittery polish from the fall Kardashian Kolors Kollection by Nicole by OPI. This is the first time I’ve worn this one and I kind of love it! I will definitely be wearing this shade again, I’m angry I have looked it over in the past. It’s not really a spring-y but look out for my easter nails later this week!

Had to share some pics of my cousins apartment in brooklyn. Her and her roommate did an amazing job decorating… makes me want to get an apartment asap and spend all my money on designer things!
