incoco ~ pretty in pink

Here is the manicure that is helping me get through January and get amped up for February and one of my favorite holidays… Valentine’s Day! Incoco sent me the Fairy Tale Ending collection to try out for the blog, and I am obsessed! I picked the least Valentine’s Day wraps (they are still VD-like) and these are them!

They are called Pretty in Pink and are so adorable.

Something about polka dots… they get me!

I have always said that Incoco are my favorite nail strips out there-and nothing has changed. They continually provide the best quality strips…so easy to apply and they look great. Can’t wait to try more Valentine’s Day wraps!

color-block-polka-dot nails!

Here is a fun Friday Tutorial for you guys!

In this design I used Fly by OPI (Nicki Minaj Collection), Black Diamond by China Glaze, and Alpine Snow by OPI. I also used a small craft paintbrush to do the polka dots and also some mailing label stickers to get straight lines on the color blocking.

First, brush over a bottom coat to protect your nails. Then, paint one coat of the bottom color.

Let the nails dry COMPLETELY. If the nails are tacky, the bottom color will come off with the stickers. Then, place the stickers diagonally across the nail.

Paint the darker color on your tips. Wait for it to dry, then remove the stickers.

Then, with a thin craft paintbrush, use white lacquer to paint polka dots in a fun pattern on your nails. I chose to do 3 dots on my black tips, but you can be as creative as you want to! Finish off with Seche Vite Fast Dry Top coat and you are good to go!

Here are my finished nails:

Happy Painting!
