What is your favorite fashion trend right now and why?

Corduroy Pants! I recently just purchased my first pair at Urban where they carry them in 5 different colors!

They provide the perfect comfort and style for those cold winter months. They are a great pair to wear when going from day to night.

What is your favorite outfit to wear on a date?

Black Pants, Colorful Blouse, Sexy Kitten Heels and my striped Henri Bendel clutch.

What’s the biggest fashion risk you’ve taken? How’d it turn out?

I’ve been trying for quite sometime to pull off wearing a shirt dress. I own two of them and It’s just not working out as I had hoped. I’m still in search of the perfect one!

Do you have a daily accessory that you always wear?

A rosary bracelet that my mother gave me 4 years ago.

What is your go-to hairstyle?

I’ve learned how to curl my hair using a wand over the summer so i’ve been curling my hair every time I become bored of my long straight boring hairstyle.

What music artist/ band do you have on repeat right now?

Robyn – Hang With Me. I’m obsessed!

What celeb’s style do you admire most?

I really love Zoe Saldana’s and Rachel Bilson’s style. Rachel style is very casual and comfortable while Zoe Saldana’s is very sophisticated and chic. Combination of those two different styles is something that I’ve been recently working into my own closet these days.

What is your daily makeup routine?

Daily: moisturizer and rose bud lip balm. I’ve grown up always not wearing too much makeup. I truly believe less is more, that I wore eyeshadow a lot in high school so I’ve steered clear from doing that again.

How do you jazz it up for a nighttime look?

I’ll typically wear eye liner by using a MAC smudge pot and lipstick (Ladybug by MAC).

What is your favorite Chicago restaurant and what is your favorite meal from there?

My favorite restaurant is Cafe Ba Ba Reeba and my favorite meal would be mango sangria, patatas bravas, goat cheese & bread, and short rib with mashed potatoes. Best meal in the city by far!

What winter trend are you most excited about?

Boots!! You can never have enough boots. They save your life once the snow arrives. I’ve been pairing them with dresses and tights lately ~ I love the look!

I bought my first pair of Altrec boots last winter and I recommend everyone who lives in Chicago (or somewhere else chilly) should own a pair! They are great walking-to-work-in-the-snow shoes!

Chicago winters are FREEZING. What’s your solution for dressing up for a chilly night out?

I am always at the bar with my leather jacket. I wear it anytime I go out at night. I think it’s a great way to finish an outfit and also keep me warm during those cold winter nights!
