What is your favorite outfit to wear on a date?
Dark skinny jeans, a comfortable tee or blouse and leather jacket. Depending on the poor guy wedges or flats…
Talk about a risk taker! You recently chopped 10 inches of your hair off… and it looks great! Any tips for ladies looking to make a big hair change?
After flirting with the idea for a while I decided to make a last minute appointment and just chop off my hair. I have a tendency to be impulsive (oxymoron?) Plenty of other people would be happier with the hair than I was. Impromptu donation!
What is your go-to hairstyle with your new look?
Blowdry with a barrel brush, hairspray and flip. No need to spend too much time, there’s not too much to work with!

What celeb’s style do you admire most?
If I had the budget to dress like Jessica Alba I would, but she wears more color than I do. Everyone jokes about the amount of black and brown my wardrobe contains. So I guess I can relate more to Alexa Chung’s style, there’s hardly an outfit of her’s I don’t like.
Do you have a daily accessory that you always wear?
Every morning I gear up with a basic silver ring my sister bought me and a silver necklace that reads “Fuck Cancer” for my kid sister, and because hardly anyone would disagree with that statement.
What is your daily makeup routine?
Usually rushed because waking up is rough… Benefit moisturizer (cuz it smells too good), powder foundation and bronzer, sweep of blush, and mascara.
How do you jazz it up for a nighttime look?
Jazz with another swoop of blush, darker eye shadows, and I’m trying to grow up and throw some lip color into the mix.
How do you accessorize on nights out?
I’ll swap all my gear from bag to clutch and switch up my perfume. Not that smelling good should be an accessory…
What is your favorite Chicago restaurant and what is your favorite meal from there?
I am willing to eat just about anything. BBQ Pork Fries with a Burger to wash it down at Kuma’s Corner crosses my mind at least once a day. Gyro cravings are taken to the Parthenon in Greektown, but I had some unreal pork belly this summer at The Portage near my house.
What fall/winter trend are you most excited about?
Sweaters on sweaters on sweaters. One day I’ll move somewhere perpetually cold so I won’t have to pack mine away for the summer. A long bulky neutral colored sweater over some leggings or skinny jeans with a short chunky boot is all I’m looking forward to putting on right now.
Fall is all about layers. What’s your solution for dressing up for a chilly night out?
Moto jacket. It’s all i want.

fall/winter, always better to layer up than bare all.
