J just showed you how she dyed her hair for fall… and now its my turn! I used Clairol nice and easy foam. I have a lot of hair and it seems like the foam gives you more dye to work with than other brands I have tried. I chose #4 Dark Brown.
The last time I dyed my hair was in the winter. The color that I have now is a mix of my natural light-ish brown hair and the summer sun highlights that I get. So by the end of the summer my hair gets a little gingery and I usually like to go darker for the fall.
First you mix the dye and shake it up. I also bought a dark brown towel so that none of my clothes, skin or yellow towels would get stained.
My process for hair dying is simple, start with the bottom layer and then work your way up. The foam is super easy to work with and like I said, there is way more formula than other brands I have tried. When me and J used to dye my hair in college we would pick the same color and use the remnants from her bottle plus an ENTIRE other bottle on my hair. I have a lot of hair.
Anyways, this foam stays on for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes, rinse in the shower until the water runs clear. Use the included conditioner and viola! Here is my end product! . I love the color and was excited to debut my new hue at brunch this weekend!
