If you live in Chicago and are going to Lolla this year, you are probably just like us… freaking out about what to wear!!! Lolla is a 3 day music festival located in downtown Chicago, in Grant Park right on Lake Michigan.
Nothing like seeing amazing bands with Chicago’s beautiful skyline in the background!
If you are from Chicago or live in the area, you know its the most anticipated event of the summer for most people. We threw together some looks for Lolla based on a few different styles… hopefully this will help you when you are shopping or putting together an outfit for this weekend or any other summer music festival!
This look is for the ultimate concert goer- the hippie! This look combines a few of the hottest summer trends: tribal and feathers. Throw some gold bangles on your wrist and a headband in your purse for when your hair gets too hot&&tangled to be down and you are good to go! If you are into the current club music trend, this look is perfect to dance your feet off to Avicci, Bassnectar, Kaskade, or Justice. This look mixes bright neons with fringe for a true ‘electric feel’. I am obsessed with this neon cross body bag! Its the perfect size for your small wallet, phone, and camera.
This look is for all you big spenders who shelled out the cash to be in the VIP tents and areas, some that have HUGE fans and A/c! While the rest of us are sweating our styled little butts off in the field, you can stay cool in this printed maxi with high braided bun. The VIP areas also are on pavement, so you have the option of wearing wedges or heels while all of our shoes get ruined in the muddy abyss that is Grant Park.
Last but not least, this look is for the girly rock concert goer. Studs, studs, and more studs! I love the shirt and shorts combo in this look, but I am most obsessed with the accessories! The heart stud earrings and cat eye sunglasses bring a girly edge to this punk rock outfit. The fringe backpack is big enough to stuff the tshirt you buy in it and have room for some more freebies (free granola bars, anyone?). Throw in a wild nail color to really make your outfit stand out!
