covering a bummer blemish

Zits are the worst. They always pop up at exactly the wrong time. Here’s some products we love & swear by to help you out!

concealer

Maybelline’s Cover Stick comes in light, medium, and dark beige to match your skin perfectly.

If you like a more liquid concealer, try Clinique’s Perfectly Real Makeup directly on top & around the blemish.

foundation

MAC’s Select Sheer Pressed foundation – comes in tons of shades for a perfect match.

bronzer & blush

Bare Minerals’ Warmth bronze powder & Golden Gate blush. Lightly dust your face with the bronzer, then add the blush for a natural look.

Instead of taking gross close-up pictures of a zit, I spared you guys the images and worked with this:

…’cause that’s what zits look like, right?

Put on the concealer – on and around the blemish. Don’t over-do it, but put on enough to completely cover the zit and surrounding area.

Dust on the bronzer, making sure to blend the surrounding area. Add blush to give your face some color dimension.

Perf! Ready to go.

prevention

We love Origins’ Checks and Balances face wash. It’s light, foamy, and smells awesome. Use every morning to give yourself a fresh start and an oil-free face.

When blemishes pop up, use Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment to get to the core of the zit and blast it from the inside.

Hope this helped! Go out there with a clean, zit-free face!

(by the way, I’m wearing the cutest deep purple/blue shade – Essie’s “No More Film”)
